Northeast Panhandle Teacher’s Federal Credit Union Due Jan. 31
To be eligible, students should have become members of the credit union by May 1st of their junior year.

To be eligible students must be accepted or enrolled at an accredited university in Texas or Oklahoma and plan to pursue a degree program in agriculture or an agriculture-related program (Animal Science, Pre-Vet, Agribusiness, Range Management or Wildlife).
Sybil B. Harrington Scholarship Due Feb. 1
These scholarships are only for 2018 high school graduating seniors in the top 26 counties of the Texas Panhandle.
Amarillo Area Foundation Opens in November > Due February 8 at noon
The Foundation offers a variety of scholarships for different colleges/universities and fields of study, and eligibility for scholarships is based on the student’s county of residence, planned college or university, and/or anticipated field of study. While most of the scholarship funds available are for graduating high school seniors, there are a few funds available for currently enrolled college students. We highly recommend you check for scholarships for which you are eligible BEFORE beginning the application process. To view scholarships available, select the correct option below.
North Plains Electric Scholarships Due Feb. 8 at noon
Six $1,500 member scholarships will be available to active members, children of active members, employees, or board members of North Plains Electric Cooperative, Inc. These may be traditional college bound high school graduates, current college students of any classification, or persons wishing to continue their education.
Panhandle FCA Christian Athlete of the Year Due Feb. 19
Students must be active in FCA at the local high school and attended an FCA summer camp.

Capital Farm Credit Scholarship Due Feb. 23
A parent or grandparent of the student be a borrower of a loan with Capital Farm Credit to be eligible. In 2020, students with 4H or FFA involvement will be eligible.
Farm Bureau Due March 1
You must be a TFB Member to apply for all TFB Scholarships m To become a Texas Farm Bureau member go to the following link: https://my.texasfarmbureau.org Click on “Don’t have a Membership” located within the “Sign Up” box on the MyTFB website.
Golden Spread Electric Due March 1
If you are a cooperative member or the spouse of child of a member you are eligible to apply.
Step Up to Success Scholarship Due March 1
Students must have attended either the middle school or high school Step Up to Success event to be eligible to apply. The event is hosted by Los Barrios de Amarillo. **See Ms. Rash for an application.**
TREWA Due March 15
Twenty (20) TREWA scholarships of $1,500 each will be awarded to CURRENT TREWA members and their children. Applicant or applicant’s parent or guardian must also be a current member or an employee of a Texas electric cooperative or an employee of Texas Electric Cooperatives, Inc. Applicant must be a current member of TREWA.
Amarillo College Foundation Due March 1
All students planning to attend Amarillo College are encouraged to apply for an AC Foundation scholarship. The scholarships are open to students of all ages pursuing any major at Amarillo College.
Harwell & Cook Orthodontics Scholarship Due March 30
This scholarship is open to all graduating seniors who perform above and beyond the expectations in and out of the classroom. There are two short essays students must answer for application7. See Ms. Rash to receive essay prompts.
Opportunity Plan Due April 1
Opportunity Plan, Inc. provides educational loans, scholarships and financial counseling to students as they work to achieve their educational dreams at a community college, technical school, four-year institution and beyond.
CHS Scholarship Packet Due April 15
The CHS Scholarship Packet is an accumulation of all local Canadian scholarships. Some are memorial scholarships, some are based on merit: class rank, GPA & test score, and others consider the students declared major or area of study or church involvement. Students are required to submit the same documents for each scholarship in the packet. They may receive these packets from Ms. Rash in January.
Top O’ Texas Cattlewomen’s Scholarship Postmarked before April 16
Student must major in agriculture, nutrition, or a health related area.
Mona Jennings Freeman Memorial Golf Scholarship Due April 30
Students must have participated in multiple UIL athletic programs during high school.
