The Canadian High School (CHS) staff is committed to keeping this platform updated with relevant information for our students, parents, and community. Our students and programs have a strong tradition of success. Engaging in rigorous academic coursework and programs enriches our students' lives and equips them for their future endeavors beyond high school.
As we approach the 2024-25 school year, I am excited to begin my sixth year as principal at Canadian High School. Before joining CHS, I served as principal at Gruver High School for one year and spent four years as the Assistant Principal at Canadian High/Middle School from 2014 to 2018. With a total of 28 years of experience in education—including nine years as the Head Girls Basketball Coach at New Caney High School, five years as an assistant coach at Lubbock Coronado, and four years as a boys' coach at Smyer High School—I have taught a variety of high school social studies courses throughout my career.

My wife, Melodie, is a fifth-grade math teacher at Baker Elementary, and we are proud parents of two sons: Collin, a 11th grader, and Zach, a 9th grader.
In my spare time, I enjoy weightlifting, reading, fishing, and watching television.

I am looking forward to a wonderful year as a Wildcat!
